Swedish Energy Agency welcomes three new companies to India-Sweden Accelerator Programme
The Swedish Energy Agency’s India-Sweden Accelerator Programme (ISIA) has been helping Swedish companies with expansion dreams in India for 13 years. Now 3 new companies are welcomed to the delegation trip to India on 8-15 April.
India is on the rise and has over the past 10 years implemented a series of reforms that have contributed to the country’s growth. There is a great demand for green solutions that can be scaled up quickly, so the conditions for Swedish companies with innovations in this area are very good. In autumn 2024, the Swedish Energy Agency applied for companies for the programme and it is now clear that 3 new companies have been accepted.
– ‘Given the rapid development that is taking place on the infrastructure and transport side in India, we see that these companies are right in time to be introduced to the market now,’ says Charlotte Svensson, Business Developer International Markets, at the Swedish Energy Agency.
The aim of the programme is to promote cooperation between India and Sweden in new energy and renewable energy technologies. Since its inception in 2012, ISIA has introduced more than 70 Swedish companies to the Indian market and facilitated over 300 commercial partnerships.
New companies
The new companies join Atmoz, European Composting Systems, Magstrom, Sticky Solar Power, Trifilon, Trine, Xinix Global, and 3eflow already in the accelerator.
KRAHN Specialty Fluids
KRAHN Specialty Fluids is a manufacturer of heat transfer fluids for refrigeration systems and antifreeze for fire protection. The refrigeration product, CRANE Temper, is an innovative and high-performance refrigerant that, with its exceptionally low viscosity and high thermal conductivity, reduces energy consumption and enables a more compact and cost-effective design. The product is biodegradable, food grade and has advanced corrosion protection making it an obvious choice for the food industry and other demanding applications where durability, reliability and maximum efficiency are essential.
Liquid Wind
Liquid Wind is a developer of electrofuel plants, focused on reducing emissions in hard-to-replace sectors, such as global shipping and aviation, by accelerating the transition to sustainable fuels. The electrofuel production technology is based on combining hydrogen with biogenic carbon dioxide to create the fossil-free liquid electrofuel e-methanol. Liquid Wind’s standardised approach, modular solutions and digital platform allow for efficient scaling and replication of projects.
Plexigrid
Plexigrid provides a flexibility management system that enables utilities to deliver more energy to customers while reducing the need for investment in new infrastructure. Plexigrid products are deployed modularly on top of a real-time digital twin platform. The AI-powered platform provides the essential capabilities required to deliver high-performance, secure and reliable grid operation solutions.
India-Sweden Innovation’s Accelerator Programme (ISIA)
The programme is mainly aimed at Swedish small and medium-sized companies with energy-related solutions. Participation in the programme is free of charge for the companies. What is required of them is commitment and time to work on their launch in the Indian market.
The programme is a collaboration between the Swedish Energy Agency, Business Sweden and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Over the course of 18 months, participating companies make three trips to India to explore the market, meet relevant business partners and investors, and receive export coaching from the Swedish Energy Agency, Business Sweden and the Confederation of Indian
Industry.
The programme takes in new companies twice a year, once in the spring and once in the autumn. The Swedish Energy Agency accepts expressions of interest on an ongoing basis. Participation in the programme is free of charge for companies. All that is required is commitment and time to work on their launch in the Indian market.
