About Alelion

Alelion drives and transforms electrification through industry after industry.

Alelion Energy Systems AB was formed in 2006 to create product and system solutions within the new revolutionary lithium battery technology.

Alelion has, since 2013, been preferred supplier with two of the three largest global truck manufacturers and in 2014, these companies were able to launch 17 new models equipped with Alelion lithium-ion batteries.

A battery from Alelion has a long lifespan, while lead-acid batteries have an expected lifespan of 3–5 years. We manufacture lithium-ion batteries for counterbalance forklifts, warehouse trucks and pallet trucks as well as solutions for industrial vehicles. The Alelion battery systems include the development from cell modules to full systems including electronics and software development.

In 2016, Alelion was listed on Nasdaq First North.

Expertise areas

Robust, safe and proven lithium-ion systems with integrated CAN communication and software solutions. The systems can be an integrated part of an energy management solution where energy storage and renewable energy solutions are also integrated.

Alelion will offer fast prototypes and solutions of new lithium-ion systems for the Indian market.

Why India?

India has a growing need for sustainable solutions that can be integrated with renewable energy solutions. The market for lithium-ion solutions have not yet been locally developed and Alelion can add a value by bringing new solutions into the market in cooperation with local business.

Many global companies, sharing the need for lower CO₂ emissions and cost cutting initiatives, are located in India and would also need local support.
